BIO

I’ve been working as a graphic designer close to a decade at a variety of agencies and institutions. During the last two years of college, I was a full time designer at the in-house creative studio on the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) campus called Designworks. After graduating from MCAD with a BFA in Graphic Design, I moved to St. Louis to work at Kiku Obata (KO). While at KO I worked as lead designer on several projects including COCA, Northwestern Hospital and Mercy Children’s Hospital. After 2 years at KO I started to freelance for New Honor Society on their Logitech campaigns, while simultaneously teaching design part-time at the University of Missouri St. Louis (UMSL). Upon moving back to Minneapolis, I took a job as an adjunct faculty member at MCAD teaching Intro to Design. Along with teaching, I was brought on as lead designer at the Children's Theatre Company (CTC) working on all print and digital marketing, as well as internal projects. After almost three years I moved on to a lead role as designer at Preston Kelly, where I contributed my design skills to multiple clients and projects including UCare, Ameriprise, Par Aide, NoDoz, Lil’ Drugstore and more.

Although environmental, branding and print design has populated my portfolio, I have worked on several digital campaigns such as Mynah, CHI, UCare and CTCs Off Book. It is my belief that all modes of design should be explored to keep a larger understanding of design, and how each generation contributes to it.

I try to cycle year round. I love to cook, and eat. Camping, birding and swimming are a must. My latest obsessions are pre-fabricated homes and sprinter van conversions.
